Mood Improvers
Sep. 27th, 2006 10:05 amIt improves my mood to be grateful. I have been practicing gratitude. It's helpful to me.
I started chorus rehearsal on Monday. It was fun to be singing again. I've been away from choral singing for yea these five or seven years. I'm terrible with chronology. It's been along time since I've sung in a chorus so large. I think the last time was in high school.
And I started my second Spanish class at PSU on Monday. It is going to be more challenging than the last one because in this class we get to the level where the people taking it are the people who want to take Spanish, as opposed to the people who are taking it because they need to fulfill a requirement. So there are people better than me... way better. I naturally want to be the best in the class, since I'm a competitive sort of person, but I have to admit that those people will surely improve my "game."
And I've been on two job interviews in the last week. They were both for staffing services.
And we're moving this weekend, to a really nice new apartment in a middling neighborhood.

iamthequarry came over and we moved 4 pickup-truckloads of stuff to the new apartment. Today the cleaning service comes and makes the apartment all pretty for the new tenants. I will continue to empty out the old apartment today while I try to find a new job, study Spanish, etc.
