The big issue for me in 2007 is to find, and follow, my calling. Whatever the hell it is.

Don't look for it, just be receptive and it will find you. Try to avoid it and it will dog the dickens out of you. Let yourself have constructive dreams and in your quiet times, think about their meaning. Draw upon the strengths and friends of the past, for they are your foundation. The very best to you in 2007 and come hail or high water, we are going to get up there to see you. Hugs from the land-o-fruits and nuts!

I think you're right. I've been looking for the thing I can't not do. I think I have found it, but I'm not happy with it. It humbles me that I'm not as important to the world as I think I should be.

Oldest-child syndrome, I suppose.

Nah, more like conquerer of the world syndrome. We've all had to fight tough battles and sometimes it makes us feel like we can win every time. If you are not happy, then lay in wait. Do what you must to comfortably survive and wait for the golden opportunity. It will happen when you least expect it, but you must be ready. Ask yourself, if there were no restrictions and I had all of the skills that I need, what would I want to do? Work backward from that and factor in a healthy dose of servitude and you might be surprised at what you discover.
