Agreed!

Though it's a bit off that such a timeline made no mention of one of the most famous moustaches ever - Glenn Hughes of the Village People's thick, bushy black masterpiece....

It made him my favorite Village person. Well, and other furry adornments.

I would say the heyday of the moustache was the nineteenth century.

Mustaches are totally contextual. On a clone, in the 70s, smokin' hot. On the same guy in the 1990s, tragic. On the same guy, in 2004, worn with irony, hot, Without irony, tragic.

This study is flawed. Moustaches circa 1910 and prior were much sexier than circa 1970-1980. That era should certainly rank higher than the "Ironic Moustache" period.
