At the postal plant I work at, people never like the truth. They always believe the most outragous variations.
Example: One coworker was talking about her husband actually worked with a coworkers wife. The variation that would come out of that: The two spouses are spending their days together doing.......(fill in the blank)
A delightful twist that does catch one off guard. I am sure more than one person read it as fact.
