It looks like doors, windows, and a garage

You have new houses on the brain.

Mmm... Cristallography, orbifold? :)
Symmetry group 7, with both reflection and rotation of order 2, rectangular lattice, rotations centers do not lie on axes of reflection blah blah blah blah
Was this a pop quiz?

Well if it were, you failed because you didn't email me... my fault for not screening comments.

No I invented a way of diagramming plane symmetries that I like. I wanted to talk about it with someone. Anyone. I'm a lonely little symmetry (graphic) artist.

Talk to me, baby.

Oh. I thought I've won an ice cream be/ar :)

Symmetry diagrams stir up bad memories about information assimilation in giant buildings of soviet educational system and eternal winter.
I do not remember enough to provide meaningful conversation. Sorry for spoiling your fun :(

Oh, comrade, let us step forward joyously into the symmetrical world of tomorrow.

Hmrf. Will the world of tomorrow be full of abelian groups? (cyclical and otherwise)?

I am a bit vary of the representations that involve color though :) I still remember how our physics professor was sending out faxes to someone in another city and then tried to explain that "black ink is addition, blue ink is correction" (why he needed to explain that I don't remember) :) Poor person on the receiving end kept trying to explain that it's all black...

You're right. The fundamental region doesn't need a border at all, colored or otherwise. It wasn't adding any information anyway.
