David and I picked out a rose yesterday at Portland Nurseries to plant in his front yard. It's an unusual mustardy yellow-brown color, bred by an American amateur rose-breeder, Jim Sproul, and released by Weeks Roses. Though I may not have been the first to think of the rose's name, I like to think I was, with this thread on the Rose Hybridizers' Association forum as my evidence: http://www.rosehybridizers.org/forum/message.php?topid=504#838 .

The name is "Honey Dijon."

Here's a link to its entry on the Weeks Roses site: http://www.weeksroses.com/rose_honey_dijon.htm
