Here's another knitting stitch pattern I made up.

I have posted the stitch pattern under a Creative Commons license.

Here's the weird stitches that are contained in it:

Right Twist Decrease (goes from 3 stitches to 2) : Slip 2 stitches as if to knit, then return the 2 slipped stitches to the left needle as follows: Insert the left needle from right to left into the 2 stitches and slip them together to the left needle. This reverses the positions of the two stitches. Then knit 3 together, but before removing the stitches from the left needle insert the needle between the first two stitches on the right needle and knit 1, finally dropping the 3 stitches from the left needle. (This is easier done than described!)

Left Twist Decrease (3-2) : Slip 1 as if to knit, slip 2 as if to knit two together. Return the 3 stitches just slipped to the left needle by inserting the left needle from left to right and withdrawing the right needle. Next knit 1 into the back of the 3rd stitch on the left needle and then knit the 3 stitches together through the back loop, finally dropping the 3 stitches off the left needle.

3-stitch Right Twist (3-3) : Work as for the Right Twist Decrease above, but do a yarn over between the knit 3 together and the knit 1.

3-stitch Left Twist (3-3) : Work as for the Left Twist Decrease above, but do a yarn over between the knit 1-back and the knit 3 together-back.

I realize that I didn't include one of the symbols in the pattern in the symbol legend. The symbol can be found above any of the "yarn over, knit1-back, yarnover" symbols in the chart. It's for a double decrease, most commonly done as "slip 1 knit-wise, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over."
