Predator

Helen's at the back door making the same sound she makes when she's carrying around the catnip toy, a low, moaning meow that sounds like she's in pain.

I look out the kitchen window and she's got a furry thing in her mouth. It's a dead chipmunk. Ew.

I hate when anyone can read, but only friends can post.

Anyway, this guy was posting about a break-up, and he said he felt sometimes: "Like a pretty model of a bad brand of car.... it looks great.... but it's a shitty car."

My response to that is...

Shiny Car... or Tootsie Roll Pop

Here's how I think of myself: Shiny wrapper, appealing to some (not all can handle the back hair :-)), then inside, a flavor that's not your favorite, perhaps, then inside of that, chewy chocolate goodness.

He never had time to get to your core, that good good part deepest inside of you. He wasn't rejecting that.
