I just got back from wondering about downtown....though I was around 21st/23rd, that area...
Hopefully you found a good steak. I spent so much time in college, and soon after, hanging around with vegetarians that my out-to-dinner habits still cling to that area of choice. Plus, I generally don't have the excess coinage to opt for steak at most places.
As for dancing, I would think that Slaughter's or Scandal's (I think they have a dancefloor) wouldn't be too bad as far as smoke goes -- since it wasn't a Bear or C/W night at Slaughter's. But then again, what little dancing I choose to do is done at such places as the Doug Fir or Wonder Ballroom, which are smoke-free. And it's during a live band show.
Whatever y'all chose to do, I hope it was fun.
Also, there isn't a Bust Saturday night as I was told. It's next weekend.
So, hopefully I can catch up with y'all tomorrow night @ the Eagle if you're still going. (Or -- I get outta work @ 3:00 if you feel like doing something then...)
