Me so popular, knitwise

My new pattern on Ravelry is very popular... about 200 downloads on the first day. Yay me! Of course, whether anybody uses it to actually create something is another question!

I was blown away at how complex it looked and how interesting was the final result. The simple looks of that ball are deceiving. It will be interesting to see how someone would incorporate that pattern into a piece of functional clothing.

It's the same technique as the hat you admired a year ago (that I abandoned). It wasn't very functional... the fabric produced with that combination of yarn and needles was too stiff for a good hat.

That is very interesting looking. I really have to look closer into entrelac things now.
