Make Love, Not War

[livejournal.com profile] whereispaco and a friend are picking me up in a few minutes and we're going to drive all night to Washington, DC, to mill around the Mall and register our displeasure with the current regime.

Then we're staying overnight in a hotel and Paco will get to experience my PowerSnore Action. It's Vibra-Licious and Tonsil-Tastic! Now improved with O-furr-tonesĀ®.

Have fun... Give those bureaucrats over there in W.D.C. a Vibra-Licious and Tonsil-Tastic few choice words to accompany the protest....(to bad Bushey is in Texas)hehehe.

If love is blind, perhaps lust is hearing-impaired?

I would have loved to have gone to the protest tmrw, I've never been to DC.

Hop on

[identity profile] fuzzyjay.livejournal.com 2005-09-24 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
Get on the bus to DC from Chinatown!

For previous protests I have gone on buses from Yale. Typically they leave late at night and drop you off near a Metro stop on the outskirts of town, and pick you up later in the day.

This time I didn't find any buses in time to go... probably because I was focussing too much on my PDX trip.

Couldn't find anyone who wanted to go with me

It sucks to go alone.

But what about all the people in his head?

Alas

No museum time this trip. We drove all night Fri/Sat and ended up in Washington at around 6. At 7 we checked into the hotel early, slept, and headed down to the Mall. Protesting took until 4 or so, when we went back to the hotel for a nap before dinner.

We went to dinner in the gay district (near Dupont Circle), then to a bar called JR's. Not recommended by me, no facial hair to be seen except us 3. So many bare cheeks of the wrong kind!

I know there are better bars but [livejournal.com profile] whereispaco and I were too tired after that (we're talking 10:30 or so) to do anything but go back to the hotel room and sleep and stuff.

sounds like fun, sorry I was working stupid hours while you were here... I trust Gary showed you around.

Darling, associating yourself with Trotskyites? You'll do anything to get laid. Surely you could find a more legitimate way to register your disgust with the current administration (ie one more serious and therefore more effective?). Jus' sayin'

Speaking sex to power

[identity profile] fuzzyjay.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm. Maybe I'll have to rethink my strategy. I didn't manage to bring any Republicans to their knees this weekend -- or Trotskyites either, for that matter.

Wise to avoid Trotskyites. Aside from fomenting Revolution they have a tendency to eschew personal hygiene - in a not pleasant way
