Better Now

I couldn't stand looking at that previous entry any longer!

Damn it's hot in Connecticut right now. No weather for a furry person. I'm moving to a more temperate climate. That's all there is to it.

I hear San Francisco is nice...

[identity profile] vishanti.livejournal.com 2005-07-12 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
In Seattle it is currently 63° and might get all the way up to 72°! Break out the tanning lotion we're having a heat wave ;)

I would tell you to move to Indiana, but it's hot and humid here as well, but I do have a pretty good A/C unit. ;)

[identity profile] rootbeer1.livejournal.com 2005-07-12 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
There's little air conditioning here, but it rarely gets above 70 ... which is fine by us!

Love it

I like rarely above 70... I'm definitely working those Northern European genes... though I don't like winter and its short days so much.

Prick-ly heat

Don't you think that we'd create our own humidity? LOL

I'd like to second the San Francisco comment. We'll keep you cool. ;)

Oh, yeah, like three furry guys mashed together are cool... (You guys said nothing about mashing together... definitely my fantasy here)

NYC is closer to the cool Atlantic breezes. The temperature here has to be at least 2 degrees in your favor. Come on down!

[identity profile] kissynose.livejournal.com 2005-07-13 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well there is only 1 state between us. So I guess being in NJ will do you no good. Im hot too!!!

PNW Rules

[identity profile] fuzzyjay.livejournal.com 2005-07-13 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
My ex-partner is in Portland right now... he definitely wants to move there. I've considered Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. V would be my favorite except for the earthquake risks. Portland is my favorite though maybe I'll wait until Mt. St. Helens quiets down... What the hell, what's a little ash between friends.

I assume you're referring to Vancouver, BC? Would you be able to do that? Earthquake risks here don't seem any more serious than in Washington State ... as long as one doesn't live on filled-in swamp that would liquify and mess up buildings more than on other terrain.

There's Vancouver, WA also. I know some people live there and commute to Portland to take advantages of the tax laws in both states.

Thanks for friending me! I used to live in New Haven, and I remember the humidity in the summers. I live in Boston now, and we get it here as well.

Best wishes,

Shimmer

Tag, you're it! I see you friended me...

No air conditioners!

Swelter from the storm

[identity profile] fuzzyjay.livejournal.com 2005-07-14 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess that's one problem with temperate climates: air conditioning is not a given... are there any sweat-free parts of the globe? (Don't mention Antarctica.... )
