I love to read popular science articles. Not articles from Popular Science, necessarily, but dumbed-down articles on science.

I just read in Discovery about a giant virus discovered a few years ago, Mimivirus, that's pretty darn cool. Here's a link to some news on it and similar viruses: http://www.giantvirus.org/news.html.

You could do a google search on Mimivirus and go from there.

Nature is fascinating. There's so much out there that's left to discover.
