Cry me a river youngster. :) You are not old, you are just beginning to ripen and THAT my friend, as bitch Martha would say, is a very good thing. Besides, with your talents and that handsome mug, so what? You can still get around, if your hearing starts to falter, there are discrete ways of correcting it and you have your handsome hubby to keep your spirit on edge.

True, I'm pretty happy with my age, but allow me a (quiet) moment to mourn the loss of that hearing I had as a youngster!

Okay, time's up. :) Seriously though, I feel your frustration. I've had tinnitus for quite a while and if family history is anything, I'll be nearly deaf in another 10 years. I've decided to enjoy as much as I can now and then take advantage of whatever restorative measures available.
