The coolest thing happened today.

I'm on a temp job that ends tomorrow. I went up for the job but wasn't hired for various reasons, depending on who I asked, but no matter.

I got an envelope in interoffice mail today, and Joel, one of the EY employees I worked most closely with, sent me a very complimentary note with a 25-dollar Amex gift checque.

It's the first time I've been "tipped" on a temp job.

It seems it's a north american express gift cheque. Perhaps it's $25CAD??

Maybe it doesn't have a second c, but I think it does. And it's extra c for extra codswallop.
