It's sweet, and it's a potato

I'm eating a sweet potato. That is all.

Alas, it is sweet, but a potato it is not. However, me LUUUUUUVS em' whatever we think they are. I just nuke them and dump some butter on top. Now I'm hungry!

It is a potato in the sense that a tomato is a vegetable. (And how come nobody complains that a cucumber is called a vegetable? It's as much a fruit as a tomato is. And what about squashes? They're fruit, too.)

And 'cause I said so.

I nuked this one and ate it cold and unadorned.

Hahahahaha, potato/patahto, it still tastes good. I think some folks go out of their way because of the lack of bad carbs (starches) in a sweet potato or yam. When they are nuked and cold you can eat them like a banana, just peel and gobble! YUM!!

I eat the skin. It's bitter. I probably shouldn't, because I think they calibrate the pesticides on the assumption that people don't.

I like bitter-ish foods though.
