Yeah, one of the guys is from across the bay. As I see it, they took a lesson from the way that HIV replicates itself, thus the inclusion of HIV as one of the possible treatment targets. HIV injects its RNA rather than DNA into healthy cells which after dividing twice become new HIV cells. The process is not foolproof, they the great tendency for HIV to mutate. I hope it works. There is a LOT of work being done on genetically engineered approaches to treating HIV and other viral based illnesses.
